Home Sales In U.S. Hit Five Year High In October

The housing market showed more signs of strength in October with pending home sales hitting a five-year high, according to the National Association of REALTORS’ (NAR) Pending Home Sales.   According to the report for October, 2012,  pending home sales increased 5.2 percent from the month before and increased 13.2 percent from a year ago. Pending home sales have now increased on a year over year basis for 18 consecutive months, according to NAR.
